# Obstacles
All
of us have problems. A problem is a problem, until we find a solution for it.
But most of the times, we think or assume that our problems are our obstacles
in life.
Don’t
we??? ๐ฒ
I
would like to start with a story.
Once upon a time, there lived a king who was very
generous with his people. One day the King had a boulder placed on a roadway through
which people often pass. He then hid himself and watched to see if anyone would
move the boulder out of the way. Some of the king’s wealthiest merchants and
courtiers came by and simply walked around it. Many people loudly blamed the
King for not keeping the roads clear, but none of them did anything about
getting the stone out of the way.
A poor farmer then came along carrying a load of
vegetables. Upon approaching the boulder, the farmer laid down his burden and
tried to push the stone out of the road. After much pushing and straining, he
finally succeeded.
The farmer then went back to pick up his
vegetables, and noticed a rich pouch lying in the road where the boulder had
been.
The pouch contained 1000 gold coins and a note from
the King explaining that the gold was for the person who removed the boulder
from the roadway. The farmer was extremely happy on seeing this note and felt
thankful to the king.
Yes my dear friend, Every obstacle we come across in life gives us
an opportunity to improve our circumstances and creates an opportunity to learn from it.
How can you respond to a challenge / obstacle?
We often have moments and
days where we doubt ourselves. But remember; where there is a challenge, there is an opportunity!!! Take the challenge as an opportunity
and show to the world that this is how you bounce back.
I believe that success is achieved by ordinary
people with an extraordinary determination to push through their challenges and
that is what transforms them from being ordinary to becoming legendary.
So, don’t limit your challenges, challenge your
limits!!!
