# Are problems really a problem?
Life is full of
challenges. Some people seem to meet every challenge with confidence, while
others struggle to overcome them.
If I ask you in general, what are your
problems? You may come up with a big list - not being able to lose that extra
weight, not being able to apologize to someone for a mistake that has been
made, not being able to afford something that you desperately need, not being able
to effectively discipline your kids, not being able to control your anger,
anxiety, frustrations that make you feel absolutely miserable, not being able
to make money, etc.
I
tell you my friends,
Problems are
uninvited guests in our lives. We don’t invite or wait for problems to come,
but naturally it does shows its face often. Life’s problems are overbearing and inconvenient. I mean, who really wants problems? It’s easier
to just live a carefree life without having to deal with problems, right?
OK now,
How to think when
you face a problem?
1. First ask yourself, is that really a
problem? - Often, we overthink something and this make us feel that we are in a
problem. So always relax a bit and think, if that is really as big a problem as
you had thought.
2. Accept it - Don’t see a problem as problem;
instead see it as a challenge. Only if you accept the challenge, you will find
possibilities to find solution. So just accept the problem.
3. Always while working on your problems,
break them into smaller pieces. When you
try to do this, you may not solve the whole problem immediately, but solutions
of the smaller piece can get you started and might solve a few pieces of the
bigger issue.
4. Find opportunity to learn from your
problems - there is always a positive side to a problem. Treat your problems as a challenge, and you
decide if you want to be defeated by your circumstances or you want to go
through the storm and emerge victorious and triumphant.
When you are faced with a problem, ask
yourself:
What is the good thing about this?
What can I learn
from this?
What hidden
opportunity can I find within this problem?
Finding this, positive
part of the problem reduces its negative emotional impact. You may even start
to see the situation as a great opportunity for you.
And so, if you make a
practice of facing your challenges with full presence and awareness, you will
find most challenges are not challenges at all.
Stay
strong and keep going !!!
Very inspiring
