Wish you all a very happy new year !!!
Hello friends,
I hope you have welcomed this 2020 with new hope, fresh efforts and positive vibes.
One old tradition: Making New Year's resolutions.
What are your resolutions for this year?
Hmm, many of you say that you don’t make resolutions because
you are not able to stick to them beyond a few days or weeks at best. Friends, one major reason why we fail here is
because we make WISHES instead of making GOALS. We wish to reduce weight but we don’t plan what we need to do to reduce weight.
Every resolution you make is meant to produce a better version
of yourself and I am here to help you out with few ideas that you can follow
this year to make you a better you!!!
1. Write down
This is an
important step in making resolutions. Write down or
make a record of all the things you want to do for the year. Write them in
present tense. "Plan the work and
then work the plan." When you write down your thoughts, you are
actually doing proper planning. When you do this, you cannot do the opposite
because then you only end up setting yourself up for failure.
Self-acceptance is the key to keep oneself confident. Every morning, tell yourself that you are special, beautiful and good 💖. The best way you can love yourself is by spending personal time for you. Appreciate yourself for every small goodness in you. Remember, nobody is perfect. We all have issues and we all have flaws. Learn to accept your ‘flaws’ or imperfections and love them too, because they are what make you unique.
3. Stay Fit
Who has time to eat
healthy? We always want our food to be yummy instead of being healthy. To be
fit is not cutting calories by going crazy, but following a correct diet and
exercising regularly. Take the stairs; take 10 minutes to run up the steps in
your office or at home and this refreshes you and gives you a bigger energy
boost than having half a cup of coffee and it burns calories too!
4.
Never Procrastinate
If you
want to do something, do it right away. If you don’t do it now, you will never
do it. To avoid postponing, you just
need to understand that it is your goal and make use of the time more
appropriately ⏳.
5. Engage with people
A mom who
is at home and a non-user of social
media is wished on her birthday by her children on social
media. Why? For whom and to impress whom are
the birthday messages posted? Yes, we are more
engaged with imagination rather than reality. Nowadays, young people or even
elderly people have a big list of friends on social media, the so-called
“virtual friends” but there is not one good friend to
lean on. We do have many followers on Instagram
but none beside us in reality. The secret to avoid
using mobile is to hide the most addicted app. You go to the app only if
needed. Remember my friends,
social media is only a tool to enhance your connection with your friends but
can never take priority over personal interaction with your loved ones.
6. Say good bye to
unhealthy habits
Knowing that consuming
alcohol and smoking is hazardous to life, people still go for it in any mood
they are. Let’s avoid such unhealthy habits in 2020.
7. Build a better budget
Last
but not the least, if there's one New Year's resolution that will help you the
most in the long run, it's making a vow to save more money 💰. Before you head
back to the office, outline a budget that works for you — and make a plan for
how you'll stick to it. Budgeting is an art, learn it. This is not easy unless
you start observing how much you spend and on what you spend. Spend only for
your needs and avoid spending for luxury and this is the secret of
budgeting.
A final touch,
Keep your thoughts positive,
they become your WORDS.
Keep your words positive,
they become your BEHAVIOR.
Keep your behavior positive,
they become your HABITS.
Keep your habits positive,
they become your VALUES.
Keep your values positive,
they become your DESTINY.
Try these 7 ideas seriously
with a good smile and I would love to hear from you about the changes you find in you.
Wish you all a blessed and great year ahead🌹!!!
Nice tips to follow.
